Technology is no stranger in our lives. We have grown up together, side by side, both constantly changing at a startling pace. What has grown from technology however, is what most refer to as New Media. A form of art and technology created by these rapid advancements, helping to further expand and develop our already fast paced world.
New Media is an innovative way of using new, available technology and materials to create a sort of experience or interaction for the viewer. These interactions come in countless ways by an infinite number of sources. Now a days it is virtually impossible to avoid confrontation from any sort of New Media technology, and for that matter, why would you want to? New Media is all about innovation. It’s looking to change the way we live by improving communication and entertainment through the use of various internet based utilities and compelling interactive programs and visuals. Computers now are able to give virtual lives by allowing people to interact, argue, gossip, do and learn about almost anything they want. New Media technologies has given us a means of interaction never thought possible.
